Have you heard of what is known as Twitter?

If you don't know about this social networking service, then you should read on.

Twitter is a free micro-blogging service. It allows computer users to post updates of up to 140 characters about their life, their feelings, even the latest news.

Each user has a profile page, which they use as a blog. They can accept followers or choose to follow others. For instance, if you are a follower of Kim Yu Na, the Korean figure skater, you can subscribe to her updates through the Twitter Web site, short message service (SNS), or another application. Another interesting thing about Twitter is its speed. If a person with 10,000 followers posts an exclusive news item before the mainstream media does, 10,000 people instantly get that information through him/her. 

 - exclusive: 독점적인, 전용의, 배타적인, 특권층의

 

Because of such interesting features, Twitter has grown into one of the most popular networking sites in the world since 1996, when Jack Dorsey created it.
